It's a shack but I had fun

If you find a well-lit shack on the side of a highway leading out of Lawrence you are probably in the right place. Knowing that I would be in Lawrence for a couple of weeks, I signed up as a member on their website ahead of time. Don’t know what the purpose of this really is but at least once you pay your membership (which for me was $15) you don’t have to worry about cover anymore. Place is pretty run down inside, it reminded me of a very divey local bar but it was friendly and comfortable enough. During the day the crowd is older (both dancers and customers) and as a person in my 30’s I felt more comfortable there at night. Dancers were younger and more attractive and the customers were more diverse at night with a range of ages and ethnicities. They have one small stage that is just a few inches off of the ground. Girls may or may not get fully nude but most do at night if there is tipping going on. The best part of this bar is the prices. As I mentioned no cover once you are a member. $2 for a domestic can of beer and $10 dances. Dances take place on a wall at the back of the club where there are couches that look out the club, there isn’t any privacy as you will be back here with other customers. All of the dances I had here were good. Dances are topless only but hands are allowed to explore. All of the girls I spent time with were fun, low pressure and aimed to please.
