Too small for comfort
I've been looking forward to visiting this club for several reasons. It's new. I heard a few good things about it. Mainly, it's near my favorite nude club, Flashdance Cabaret, which shut down over a year ago and is now just a parking lot. I used to pass this place all the time when it was a regular bar and always thought it might have some potential as a strip joint. The owners used to try to feature bands but gave up when that wasn't profitable. I was hoping some of Flashdance's old mojo might liven the joint up. (Pay attention young guys: This is how sentimental you can get after two decades of clubbing. Pathetic!)
Anyhow, the small lot was full, but when I walked in there were just three dancers and two other customers. The Den is small, maybe too small. It does have a curtained off VIP area, which caught my interest. A bouncer (or maybe one of the owners) sat at the door and monitored all the action at the bar. I ordered a Coke and immediately received an offer of dances from Barbie--a true hottie. She was a solid 7 with a pretty face and baby soft skin. She did two $5 dances but her top stayed on the whole time and there was only incidental contact.
With the bar being watched the entire time, any action is going to be severely limited. I didn't feel like rolling the dice on a $20 dance without knowing how hot things could get in private. Seeing little reason to stick around, I downed my soda and headed out for one final stop--on Brittain Road (next review).
