First time here since the remodel.

I have been to Hong Kong dozens of times. I have not been down here in almost a year though. I decided that I would come down tonight and check it out. About that........even getting into Mexico, was a trip. I have a Sentri card and the last time I was down here, you just walk across. Now, they make you wait in a line to even ENTER Tijuana. I asked one of the security guards if I had to wait in this line even with my Sentri card and he looked at me like I was stupid. Eventually he told me that "You need a passport next time" and told me to go to the "residents" section of the line. I guess that Mexico is charging people a "tourist tax" if you stay in their country for more than a couple of days. I walked through and was on my way. The new entrance to Mexico is a far ass walk to get to the taxis...dark too...the street lights were not on. I never felt unsafe, but its a good 1/4 to 1/2 mile walk once you get into Mexico to even get a taxi. I got there eventually and paid my man $5.00 to take me to Hong Kong.

I walked up to Hong Kong and there were a few people there. This was the first time I had ever been at night. I used to always go down in the day and would be out of Mexico by 5pm at the latest. I arrived at the door around 10pm. You have to buy a beer ($5.00) at the door and go through a pat down. You have the option to trade in your beer for a different drink (soda/bottle water) at the bar. This was also my first time in here since they did the remodel of the place. I have to say....it's even crazier than before!

The second floor used to house lap dance booths and have a few tables overlooking the main floor. Now, the lap dance booths are gone and the whole wall where they used to be is lined with wrap around booths/seats. I made my way through that area and then up to the third floor. I had seen this floor before (headed to a VIP room previously), but it was always closed. Tonight, it had a stage with the shaving cream show going on and a whole bunch of people chilling upstairs. From what I gathered, the next floor above that (VIP Rooms) are now where the lap dances take place. I did not partake in one tonight but if you do, they cost $21.00.
