Onyx

I was going to Dallas Gentlemen's Club, but it was really crowded and the cover was $20, so I took the short walk over to Club Onyx. The parking lot was pretty empty, but I still went in. The cover was $10. The club, as most people know, is all African-American. It is not small, so there is plenty of room. There were two girls on stage at a time. There was a variety of girls of different sizes and shapes, but only a couple that caught my eye. One of them called me over as I walked in and, because I just got there, after a brief chat, I continued around the club to check it out. Not finding anything catching my fancy I went back to the first dancer. She wanted $20 per dance. The dance was downstairs in the seating area, but in an area where the chairs blocked some view as long as no one walked by. It was terrible, the song was one of the shortest I have encountered. I stopped at that point and continued to walk around the club. A little later I talked to her again and she agreed to make up for the short song with 2 for 30. Same place. There was some grinding and she felt good, but was very limited. It was OK, but just OK. I would not get a dance with her again. At that point I headed out. The club was nothing more than just a OK club.
