sinclair's Review
I visited Heartbreakers on a Tuesday evening around 6:30pm. The building looks like a castle on the outside, and parking was on the street. There was a small lot in the back of the club, but I was not sure if it was reserved only for employees. The cover charge was $5, and beers were $5.50 each. The club is basically three rooms. The main room has a stage with a pole, about six tables and a bar. Behind the bar are the lap dance booths, which are a few steps up. The booths face towards the rest of the club, so other than the top of the bar blocking some of the view, you get no privacy. There is also an employee at the end of the row of booths who takes the lap dance fee that can also observe your movements. The room to the west of the main room had couches and low tables, beyond which were the VIP rooms. The room to the east of the main room has a secondary bar and two more stages with poles, along with a lot more seating than the center room. During my visit the club wanted to contain the dancers and patrons to the main center room, which became kind of crowded. A lot of the music tended to be hip hop or rhythm and blues. Thug factor was nonexistent during my visit; most patrons were old guys trying to act like Viagra-gobbling pimps. Based on the club being in West Allis and the booties of some of the dancers, I would guesstimate that this club could get ghetto after sundown.
Shift change appeared to be about 7pm, at which time there were ten in service (four black, three white, two Hispanic, one Asian). The dancers here were not too appealing. Even on nightshift, it was a no-brainer that all but about one or two of them had dumped out a few infants. Their pelvic cavities were widened due to pregnancy, and stretch marks were visible through the neon and strobe lights. One of the Hispanic dancers and one of the white dancers talked like they were straight out of Compton. This was annoying, yet kind of funny at the same time. Maybe their baby daddies are nogs. The best looking dancer was a Nubian princess named Venus. She was the only dancer that got me aroused. Lap dances at Heart Breakers cost $20 per song. I tried two different dancers out on single-dance forays for TUSCL research purposes. Both gave a pretty standard mechanical grind. I was under the impression contact was mostly one-way here. Like all Brew City strip clubs, have singles ready for the dreaded tip walk.
The nightshift bartender was probably the second best looking female in the club after Venus. The club has a simple food menu and kitchen. One tip is: avoid buying dancers drinks. I had an ugly dancer try to get me to buy her a drink while sitting at the bar. I balked when I learned that her cocktail would be $13. Either cocktails are expensive here, or dancers get the priciest ones when they find a sucker to buy. The bathrooms were clean, and there was no bathroom troll during the ninety minutes or so that I was in the club.
