Sigh.

I miss the Detroit clubs (yes, Michigan) I frequent. By comparison, this club is lame and too expensive.

First, I arrived about 8:30pm and I expected to pay a cover. However, I was not expecting to be asked if I was a member and what my name was so I could be looked up in their computer. “No, I’m not a member”. Cover is $10. I asked what’s the story on membership: $20 and fill out a form providing some information about me to load in to their computer. Members get in for $5 Monday – Thursday, at time, but not the weekend. Years of club visits and this was the first time I’ve heard of “membership”.

I passed on the membership -- seems to me getting my name into their computer database is asking for future trouble. $10 for anonymity is fine with me.
