I don't know why I went back

So, it had been a bit since had visited Pink Monkey and felt the urge to check in and see if any improvements were made, or any changes in general. This visit was probably one of the worst visits I have had at a strip club. It was a Saturday night and the place was EMPTY. There were about 10 - 15 guys in there, the strippers were all hanging together by a wall talking. I grab a seat at the bar in the rear of the club, and sat there for about an hour. Eventually I got so bored I had to leave.

I got one dance, it was very half hearted and not great, even by Chicago standards. There were a few girls I would have been interested in, but they appeared very unapproachable. For whatever reason, it seemed like none of them wanted to be there, after a short while, that included me as well. The girls are not interested in making small talk, just a very quick meet and greet, then you either get a dance or they go back to hanging out with their friends. When I go to a strip club I enjoy a bit of everything - Stage show, conversations with the girls, and private dances/Vip. At Pink Monkey, this time around, I got none of that.

The atmosphere seems to have deteriorated from a few years ago when a good time could actually be had. From now on, I'll stick to VIP's, even with the pasties/breast coverings they are required to wear there is a much livelier atmosphere and potential good times to be had. I get the sense, that no matter how often you go to Pink Monkey, you will NEVER become a regular, it has become a touristy strip club; not somewhere I want to spend my money despite the convenient downtown location.
