Another afternoon in paradise

For those of you coming to Denver from out of town, this is probably the best club to visit. Although the club is somewhat run down and in a seedy part of the city, you will find the youngest dancers and (relatively) the highest mileage. While on stage, the dancers will grind on your lap in a manner that is similar to lap dances in other clubs. Only Tequila Willy's has better-looking dancers in a much nicer venue -- but the level of contact at Willy's is much lower. Also, Penthouse Club is a pretty fun place to visit, a close second to Centerfolds. My sense is that all the Denver clubs have become more tame compared to five years ago.

I always visit in the early afternoon, and this was no exception. Cover was $10 and an additional $10 for a wrist band for private dancers. I've been coming here for almost a decade and most of the faces looked familiar to me. Dancer quality was in the 4 to 8 range, with white, latina, and mixed dancers. I happened to run into a favorite that had disappeared for about a year, and it was great to get some private dances and talk for a while. Centerfolds is the kind of place where you can disappear into a corner with your favorite without too much pressure to buy drinks or dances.
