I made three recent visits to the Airport Lounge while staying near General Mitchell Airport. The first visit was on a Monday night and the two subsequent visits were on Friday nights. Cover is five dollars on the weekdays a few bucks more on Fridays and Saturdays. I got my cover waived by showing my hotel key each time. A domestic bottle was $5. A craft or import bottle was $6. A tiny soda was $3.50. The bar carried a large variety of beer, some of which was local craft. The service was prompt and one of the bartenders was better looking than most of the dancers on one of my visits. The music was a mix of pop, rock, and hip hop. Thug factor was almost nonexistent.

There are two round stages connected by a runway. Every time I came in, dancers would dance on one stage for a couple songs, then shift to the other stage for a couple songs. After they were done, they would walk around the room asking for tips. Budget at least $10-$20 dollars in singles for every hour you plan to spend there, as the tip parade will slowly drain your wallet. On one visit, a couple sitting at the table next to me started refusing to tip the dancers. Some dancers just gave them a dirty look, others berated the couple verbally. It is best to just give an ugly dancer a dollar rather than provoke conflict.

Dancer quality was all over the place. It seems like this place will hire anybody. The majority of the dancers were too old or too plain-looking for me. However, there are a few diamonds in the rough here. My two favorites were a pair of spinners named Aubrey and Zelly that tended to stick together when off the stage. Both looked around 19-21 in age. Another looker was a brunette named Mary Jane. I also hit it off with Jasmine who was super friendly, although a little curvier than I typically go for. On my final visit, Jasmine’s boyfriend was at the bar nursing a beer, watching her like a hawk. Frequently, I saw dancers spend long periods of time with well-dressed business travelers who they perceived to be big spenders, but in the end, the suits would only buy the dancers drinks. On the Monday night visit, there were 13 dancers. On the Friday night visits, there were around 23-25 dancers.
