No. 5 mid-week afternoon visit

Was bored and went to my usual, the No. 5, on a Wednesday afternoon. Right at noon they start the "power lunch" where there are 4 to 5 dancers on stage one after another, with a very short break of just a few minutes in between. If you're planning on going in the afternoon, this is the best time to go cause once these girls are done their rotation by about 1:30, you have to wait up to 15 minutes between dancers. The club had about 10 customers, I'm assuming all locals, with many old chinese men sitting along the rail enjoying the show. If you don't know, No. 5 is close to Chinatown. I find it awesome that these guys, most of whom are seniors, come in at noon, nurse a beer for 3 hours and have fun looking at the ladies. The dancers are pretty cool about it too cause most of them will give them a little "show" even though these guys don't tip. All in all, a fun few hours. I always know what to expect at the Orange and it always delivers.

Some more info: during the day there is no cover, no bouncers, the food is surprisingly good, usually just a couple of VIP girls working the floor for $50 private nude dances upstairs, and lots of TV's playing sports. If grabbing a drink or lunch with a buddy I'd rather go here than a nearby restaurant. It's cheaper and you get to see naked ladies!
