First time to visit day shift

Stopped by Thursday afternoon around 12:30 to see how the club looks during the day and have a quick beer. At the door the girl was sorta rude, I asked if there was a cover (I assumed there'd be no cover since they just recently opened for day shift and I assume they are trying to build a clientele - plus the parking lot was empty.) She said it should be $10 but she wouldn't charge me because she'd feel like "an asshole" charging me since I was the first person she'd seen. Just her tone kinda made me feel like she felt I was being cheap by even asking.

Anyway so I went in, the place was totally empty, I walked to the bar and ordered a beer. Within a minute sweet young "Kendall" (I think) sat next to me, and we chit-chatted for about ten minutes. She said she used to work at Platinum Plus before they closed, I think she only works day shift and started here in June right when they started opening at noon. She mentioned they plan on eventually opening at noon on weekends, too, at some point.

Not high pressure, but she asked if I wanted a dance, I declined, said I was just here to check out the place during day shift. I finished my beer and left. Only one dancer, no other patrons. A couple other dancers arrived as I was leaving, but it was definitely a different vibe than at night. Felt more like a bar than a strip club, but I'm sure it starts to gradually pick up later in the afternoon and will do moreso as more people know they're open during the day. But I would've definitely felt ripped off had there been a cover charge.
