Wasted Potential

Cheeque's, a weird little club with an awesome name and barely-on-maps location, could be so much more. It's a typical NJ go-go setup, dancers behind the bar and dollar parade. Drinks are reasonable, staff is nice enough. The afternoon I visited the dancer quality was dead average. Little below a 5, little above a 6. Still, as goes for nearly any NJ go-go, one right dancer and a little privacy is all it takes for a great time.

Bottom line: there is NO private lap dance option here. There is a TINY "VIP Room" right next to the main bar. It can hold, and I'm not kidding, four patrons at a time WITHOUT dancers. If there is more than one guy in here, your dancer and his dancer will be hardly able to move without bumping into each other. More than 2? I can't imagine. Everyone must just sit there waiting for someone to leave.

If you want to hang out and see high dancer quality with a good (albeit not cheap) private VIP option and a regular VIP room big enough to enjoy, keep heading down the street and go to Taboo. This club...I just don't get it. Find a way to add any private VIP option and things suddenly get interesting.
