Perfect Dowtown Club

On a business trip to Portland last week I visited Rouge about 9 PM on a Monday and Wednesday, hands down one of PDX’s best downtown clubs.

The club is moderately sized and has been redecorated since my last visit a year ago. It’s under new management who have made a few nice changes. Rouge has a $3 cover after 9 pm. The girls said they’re also considering opening at 11 am during the day to capture the downtown lunch/business crowd.

Rouge has 2 stages connected like a figure 8 in the center of the room with the essential chairs cheek to cheek. They’ve eliminated the bench seating and installed small bistro tables along the walls which seems to accommodate more folks.
