Pretty Nice Club

I went to 1320 II for the first time yesterday afternoon, and it was a pleasant surprise. The club is located in a storefront in a strip mall, with ample free parking. It was a VERY bright, sunny afternoon and I was nearly blind when I first walked into this rather dark club until my eyes adjusted.

After my sight returned, the club appeared quite large. This was an illusion caused by a nearly wall-length mirror behind the fairly large dancing stage on the left side. The stage is shaped a little bit like the letter B, with two almost round stages at each end and a narrower area in the middle. On the right side of the club is a long bar that extends from only a few feet into the club all the way to the back wall, where it turns in an L-shape and ends before a corridor. The club is actually rather long and narrow.

There are some low tables with seats and some high tables with, well, higher seats like barstools with backs. I sat down at one of the high tables and, within seconds, a genuinely beautiful, friendly and interesting young server came to my table. I ordered a Budweiser ($6) and had her change a $100 for me. When I asked her about the customs there she told me that lap dances, which were performed in the dark corner near me (which she pointed out) were $20, and that the dancers on stage appreciate tips (well, duh!) and that it was appreciated if you would buy a drink at least once every 45 minutes or so (not a problem for me).
