Avoid the upsell, watch the amateurs

I'd just like to mention that the bouncer staff is very nice at this club. You get a bit of chat and personal seating. I also got in with no cover with in-state ID.

I had come for the Wednesday amateur contest which starts around midnight then has an early morning second round. In the event I didn't see too much of it because the regular dancers kept coming around boosting couch dances and I generally took them up on it. The amateurs I did see were a mixed bag. Some were very hesitant to take off their tops, and others were clearly experienced dancers.

The regular dancers were a mixed bag. I got one who was OK with a good bit of stick shifting in the couch dance and another one, Filipina I believe, who was very insecure and clingy. She kept putting herself down and started asking me all sorts of personal questions. Girls: While I've got a stripper in my lap I don't want to talk about any hypothetical wife or girlfriend I might be cheating on. Then a third really pushed the VIP upsell which turned out, as usual, to be a total rip off -- she did less for me in the VIP than in the couch area.
