I drive an old Ford truck...

I drive an old Ford truck with about a bazillion miles on it. It's showing its age, but it runs great and provides a lot of driving enjoyment. It may not look like a new one right out of the showroom, but it's a pleasant, comfortable experience.

I was thinking a lot of the same things about this club after my visit last night. The first phrase that comes to mind on entering is "high mileage". The facility has seen better days, but it's clean and friendly. Some nice couches or padded seating would help immensely, but it's not bad.

The same principle applies to the dancers. There were five working on the night I dropped in, and I don't think any one of them was under thirty. I'm sure a couple were on the backside of forty. But they were all friendly, and encouraged conversation and playful joking. All but one of the five were fairly large, with more than a hint of sag. All but one were latino, with one white blond. I was a bit disappointed to not see any blacks working, but I figure you can't get too demanding on a Tuesday.
