OK visit...too many better options on 8 mile

This was my first visit to Trumpps in at least 15 years. The physical layout is virtually the same but with some upgrades over the years. Stopped in on a Thurs afternoon after having a few drinks at Penthouse. Valet is $6 + tip. No cover charge. A large square bar right there in front of you as you walk in. To your left is the stage down the middle. A few tables on either side of the stage. Booths on both sides of the walls opposite each other and another set of booths up a few steps on the left. VIP booths and an upstairs bar are on he second floor. You need to take the same winding staircase that has been there for decades.

Got there around 4pm. Only a handful of customers and about the same number of dancers. I believe beers were about $7.75 or so. Immediate impression was that I wasn't impressed at all. The girls they had were cute - in the 5-7 range but no real knockouts this day. I did end up getting a few regular lap dances from a petite blonde. Good grinding and a lot of fun, didn't inquire about extras this day. $20 VIP tax is a bit much. Dances were $25/song in a curtained booth. Decent time, just was a more chill vibe than I was expecting. Might try again down the line but much better looking girls and drink specials at the other popular 8 mile clubs
