Old standby, but not so great

I have been going to the Lake City Déjà vu for more than twenty years. It has always been, and remains, a very comfortable place for me – the lay-out is nice, the main stage has seating both right up front and way back (but still within god view), the private dance area is comfortable and at least a little secluded, etc. The music is too loud, but that seems the norm for strip clubs.

What has changed in the last couple of years – and was true during my last visit a couple weeks ago – is the selection of dancers and how they behave. It used to be that every girl on stage truly show all the goods – this was something you could count on, both for the show and to make a choice of girls for a private dance. Now it seems like only Pandora’s (I’ll post a review on it some time later) still has that basic practice.

And the dancer quality at Lake City is hit and miss. Actually, some of the less strikingly beautiful girls (but still not ugly) are the most fun to be with and give the most mileage on dances. But even that has fallen off recently.
