Sunday visit

Found myself in NY on a Sunday and after dinner I headed over to Rick's, an old standby and my regular NY go-to club. It was more crowded than I would have expected. The dancer quality was a bit uneven. Some gorgeous fit European's and some really cute and friendly dancers, but some really big girls who weren't ready for prime time. I mean big fat cellulite covered asses that you'd have to be completely hammered to endure. There were fewer women than usual and even though I was at the bar, I was only approached a handful of times, which is unusual for Ricks. The quality of the experience was about the same. The lap dances in the bar area were marginal and all the time there was the push to go the VIP, which after having been a multitude of times, still amounts to something of a random number generator. Some great, some horrific and most somewhere in the middle. I enjoyed a number of lap dances and tipped well for the standouts. The others were more forward than I remember in asking for tips when the performance was nothing special. But again, this is a NY strip club. The drinks were less pricy than I remember, because I think there was some type of special running. At any event it was a welcome surprise. Only stayed until about 1:00 as the crowd thinned out. Still a solid performer, Ricks will need to make sure they don't compromise too much with the talent.
