Changing crew?
Went back to checkout the Highliter's Friday afternoon shift ... and was met with a few surprises.
First - the parking lot was completely full. Not at spot to be had! I parked across the street in the neighborhood. This is the first time I've ever had to do that.
So ... knowing that it was crowded, I was expecting a good time. After loitering at the bar, a table opened up near the stage and I slipped in. Every other seat and bar spot were full. There must have been 30+ dancers there, and may new faces. I sampled a few ($10 at the tables - $15 still on the wall seats) and hear a lot of complaining about how the dancers weren't making any money. From 3 separate dancers, all young and new to the Highliter. I asked "how can you not make a ton of money when the place is packed?" The general responses were that the customers weren't buying dances. I didn't want any dances from these "bad attitudes" either. The dancers seemed uninterested, uninspired, and inexperienced.
