Another delayed review of Gold Club.

Only real choice without major driving. (have thought of Pony, but based on reviews here figure I will regret it). Overall nice club except for the smoke. DJ is a bit chatty and you can't understand hardly a word of it anyway, but who cares if it doesnt cut a song short. My bud light is $5.50 and it's $8 to get in in the evening. Smokey inside which kinda sucks but since I live alone I don't worry bout smell I take with me. 3 stages, one large central and 2 satellites. by late evening usually all 3 going and dancers move from central to each satellite. Dance areas are one large open area near satellite 2 and booths along one side, none are really private at all. Bar is at far end from entrance and waitresses cover the crowd. THere are a lot of tables, usually with 4 chairs and these are fairly comfortable and usually if you are there before 11: 00 on weekends you can find a seat.

Seemed like a lot of dancers on this particular saturday night, ranging from 7-9 mostly, and a couple of 6s. Eye candy was more abundant than usual. It's just a bikini bar but fun to watch . Had a early 20s dancer approach me and want to sit. Very gorgeous but couldn't carry a conversation even after I got her a drink. Gave her a sympathy dance which , despite her looks and assets and technically good moves was just plane bland, so thanked her and moved on. Tipped at stage a few times and then was a brunette that came by and sat, just bubbling with enthusiasm, (tall, skinny, small chest, but very pretty), talked awhile and had good conversation skills and I bought 3 dances from her which were fairly 2 way, and lots of fun and I though maybe found and new CF. So back to finish beer, and leave,, but and hard-body blond late 20s came by, plopped down in my lap and said "Ive been looking all over for you" (you don't know me missy) but I had tipped her at stage earlier so maybe a good memory. She hung out and talked a long time, lots of fun and hey, I've got a cute blond in bikini in my lap so, staying awhile. Finally she asked about a dance.. I had been done for the night but she changed my mind.... lucky for me, as bar none the best 3 dances I ever had,,, nothing left to the imagination and very High energy and appeared to be having a blast . I will say this, after the first song she asked if I wanted another and I agreed, but she pointed out they are $30. Normally they are $25, so she is upping the price, but at that point I knew she was in a class above all the others I had danced with, I was having fun, so went with it and tipped her after. 2nd and 3rd dances as good as first but that was as far as I was spending. (She and I will discuss a better $ next time). She came back and sat with me awhile before taking the stage and I then left.

Had not been for awhile so couple of new things I've noticed. First, they emphasize and advertise the bottle service. It's $10 to bring in your own bottle and usually it appears a bunch of dancers gather round and help you drink it dry. I do not participate and I dont need a DUI. Second, I had always been pleased that not only did this place NOT have a bathroom troll and yet bathrooms were consistently spotless, even with a hord of drunk men going in and out constantly and face it, you know how some are! THis has changed, and there is a bathroom troll present, at least in last 2 evening visits (OK, not really a troll, actually quit a nice older gentleman). However, I am perfectly capable of getting my own soap and drying my own hands and I've been doing it since I could walk sooooo..... whatever. Always feel obligated to throw a dollar his way, dont know why.

I will return , and look up my blond friend if available. If not, hey variety and adventure. As I said, bikini bar but nice place to hang out, have a beer and partake in the eye candy.
