shift change in a shit hole

This place seems to attract a regular crowd. I arrived right when they dayshift was going home and the night shift was starting. No stagger start times all on then all off. They do this all girl review where every girl in the house is up on stage moving what they got. A sadder bunch you couldn't ask for. Half the girls are ready to put on their street clothes and get the hell out of dodge, the other half have barely started their day and have the energy of a normal person at 6am. Totally unenthusiastic. Even the regulars were bailing like rats leaving a ship. No dancer approached me because no one was in the groove. Definitely not the time of day to go. I stuck around to see who was going to be the night shift and decided I could find better talent elsewhere. Many people have complained about the smoke in these clubs so I wont throw any more gas on that fire, but it does suck.
