Management trying to squeeze more out of customers?

Spun by about 6 on a Thursday evening, and the nice lady at the door said that they are now charging the $5 "sin tax" required by the city. A waitress led me to a table, where I ordered drinks and a meal. I looked behind me at the couches, and all their tables had signs saying $10, which was certainly new. After eating, tipped a few women at the main stage (which is the only one of the three stages in operation), was approached by an attractive dancer. We shared a couple drinks, I settled my tab, and we then headed over to the couches against the wall, ignored the $10 sign, and I enjoyed some nice lappers. During this, I noticed the manager replacing all the $10 signs with $40 signs. The round of dances ended with her having to go up on stage. I settled with her, and she pranced off. A waitress came up and said it's $40 to continue to sit there. So I headed out.

Certainly a new situation for a club that's been utterly chill and mellow for the couple of years I've been visiting. This visit was last month, so I don't know if the scene is the same. I'll have to check it out again in the next month.

Dancer talent is about the same, with a nice variety of dancer looks. Several are making trips down from Dallas to dance in Austin clubs.
