Attitude is important and 505 does not get that
In the door at 10:00. Out the door at 10:15. So little to offer. There were about 8 patrons: a few at the bar, two shooting pool, and three girls in street clothes chatting at the end of the bar. No challenge at the door, no ID, no frisk, no cover. The place looked like a 60s café that had been converted to a full bar, but they did not bother to change the furnishings.
Sat at the rail. An AA girl, trim, and in shape was dancing at one of the two stages. She introduced herself as Frenchie and said, “This is my last song if you want to go sit over there with me,” pointing to the tables at the side of the room. However, she reeked of “I don’t want to be here,” so I passed expecting that she would be all hustle. Then she started fussing with her kit and proceeded to wipe down the counter around the rail before the song was finished, clearly confirming that she had no interest in entertaining or that she doubled as the janitorial service.
Looking around I saw only one other girl dressed to entertain, a very heavy AA girl. She was headed for the stage I assume to dance when Frenchie intercepted her and started chatting with her. She seemed to be in no hurry. I was the only one at the rail, and since I had invested just a few dollars in tips for Frenchie, leaving now and saving my bank was a good idea. I also probably saved her the trouble of dancing and looking like she cared.
