Worth a visit on Mondays

To be perfectly honest, I've been to very few strip clubs and this was my first one, but what a first night it was. I was hanging out with a friend when he randomly asked me if had ever been to one. It was a Monday night and I thought why not, I had never had the chance to go to one, that was the main reason I had never been. We drove up there and went in. Let me say that I was honestly surprised by what I found inside. All my preconceived notions(shaped mostly by movies) flew out of the door the moment I set foot inside. While it looked dingy on the outside, what I discovered inside was rather pleasant. It was quite dark but also vibrant. I was immediately put at ease by the clientele. Why do I say this, well, mostly because it was a rather young crowd, mostly suburbanites dressed casually, a far cry from the dirty bikers I was half-hoping for. We sat down, after getting a couple of watered down and expensive beers at the front and it was time for me to soak in everything. It was truly pleasant. There were dancers on stage, of multiple ethnicities and shape and some of them were walking around trying to find prospective and willing clients to entertain with private dances. All-in-all, some pretty run of the mill stuff for those who've visited other places I suppose. But what really turned me into a fan was what came after midnight. You see, Monday nights are Amateur nights and the show delivered tenfold. You truly can't explain how things went down but it was very, very entertaining, not to mention titillating to find girls ( some of whom were definite pros but also bona fide debutantes) waltz around to try and win the grand prize. It made for a fabulous show. For a first time, it was magical. Trust me, if you wanna go there, pick a Monday. That's when it becomes special.
