I had not been here in years

I had not been here in years. Not even sure if the name's the same as my last visit. I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon, was asked to pay a cover. Told the guy at the door no thanks. Walked back out to the relatively empty parking lot and lit a smoke before I got in the car. Halfway thru, door guy pops out and says come on in. Should have been my warning sign. Like others have said, the interior is nice, especially compared to others joints in the area. I had meetings cut short, so I had a few hours to blow, and was hoping to strike gold on the first stop. Bought a drink, told the girl to open a tab and took a look around. There were four other guys in the place. They almost looked like they were working surveillance. None made eye contact with anybody else and pretty much stared straight down on their drinks. No girls to be seen anywhere. Finish the first drink and bartender tells me there are some girls getting ready to come on, and a couple already with other guests. Order another drink and a shot. Maybe two songs later, one girl comes out, pretty much like they rolled her out of bed when I walked in. The other patrons didn't even look up. She walked over to me, put her arm around and asked me if I wanted a dance. After heartily laughing for a moment, I asked if "Paris" was working (mind you I don't know a Paris, I just wanted to see what her response would be). She informed me that the dressing room was empty, but maybe she was already with someone. At this point, I'm roughly 45 minutes into my visit. I told her thanks, closed my tab (much to the bartender's dismay) and headed for greener pastures.

I'm sure there's a good time to be had here. I'll watch the other reviews and try to gauge if I'll make a return trip...
