Okay if in the Area

I remember this building from the old Silver & Gold days (that place was a lot of fun) and decided to give it a try now that it is open under the Cherry’s name. First, props to the owners for giving us this option. There is basically no other strip club any where in the area. One would have to go to Jacksonville to find the closest club to the north and to Wilmington to find the closest club to the south. Plus, Wilmington has two clubs, neither of which I feel are worth a visit, so you really have to go all the way to the south end of North Myrtle Beach to find the closest club to the south with Thee Dollhouse.

While Cherry’s is a far cry from the fun that could be had at Silver & Gold, for those of you who remember back that far, it is what it is and does a nice job providing a local choice or option if your travels bring you to Sneads Ferry/Topsail Island. You will find a mix of local military (Marines from Camp LeJeune since the back gate is right down the road), locals, tourists and contractors visiting the area to do construction work.

This is a very small club. It is no frills but clean and cozy. They only appeared to be open a few days each week around the weekend and I forget if they opened at 7:00pm or 8:00pm. However, it was basically dead until 10:30pm. There were around a dozen dancers and a very high percentage of white dancers with only a couple minorities mixed-in. Most were in their mid 20s age wise with no older dancers. Nothing that jumped out at me as gorgeous, but also nothing that should not be dancing on a stage. Basically, a whole lot of 6s and 7s with a couple of eights in the mix. Several of the ladies had lots of tats, but most had nice bodies. None of them were pushy at all and most were quite friendly. The shot girl was the hottest in the place.
