Consistent High Quality With Minor Cosmetic Changes

First visit in about a year, and set-up has changed just a bit. Same split-half adult novelty store and half strip club separated by opaque inner glass door to the strip club. There is now a "lingerie" section in adult store on the right side of main entrance next to an inner opaque glass door to strip club and the soda/water machine is gone. There is a public restroom in the store portion. Hours are somewhat reduced-club closes at midnight weeknights, and 2AM Friday and Saturday. Pay the cashier $10 to get in as always, and enter through the glass door. A schedule of dancers with their stage names is posted on a blackboard behind the cashier. The interior has been improved by adding disco-like multi-colored lighting that bedazzles the stage and the dancers, and the overly loud music has been turned down about 2 notches so you can actually carry on a conversation if so desired, or at least hear yourself think. It creates kind of an atmospheric look-neither overbearing nor subtle, but nicer nonetheless.

On this afternoon a shift of 6 dancers takes the stage, one at a time. 3 song sets, various stages of undress in first and second song and totally nude by start of third song. Individual attention at the stage was given in direct proportion to tipping, although $5 during a song set gives a pretty decent amount of individualized attention. As for looks, to paraphrase Garrison Keillor's "Lake Wobegone Days," all the girls are above average. As to ethnicity, four of the six ladies were white, one was a light African-American, and one was a very dark, and very beautiful, ebony African-American. However, the lighter African-American dancer was the overall best of the bunch in skills, enthusiasm, and eroticism. The dancers on this day ranged in age from late 20's to late 30's. Lap dances are never explicitly price-stated, however, $20 seems to get 2-3 songs worth of individualized topless attention in the leather low phone booth style lap dance areas that encircle the walls of the club except for the stage. Only about 6 patrons there total-about one per dancer. Dancers were not pushy and pretty relaxed overall. They didn't "pester" the customers for lap dances, especially those sitting at the stage. Instead, after their song set was finished, dancers walked around and waited for eye contact before asking, otherwise they sat at one of the central tables or other seats occupying themselves with their smartphones.

Finally, if the weather is a concern, the TV in the back of the club is tuned into the local weather channel with the volume down low-one never knows when there may be a tornado warning in the Harrisburg area that threatens to flatten the local strip club.
