Not worth it

My experience at Passions was typical with other reviews both on this site and elsewhere. It's a stones throw from Mascaras, which I'm dying to visit, even though I'm not AA. Passions stands alone in a weird location of a parking lot in between two rundown, shady shopping centers.

As a previous reviewer said, the patdown was interesting. Very TSA-ish and the guy said he was checking for guns. Perhaps the search is misplaced or they're trying to give the impression that it's hardcore?

The set up is weird. The stage is immediately to your left as you walk in. There's a VIP table on the far left corner of the stage and its roped off. Again, I think this is for optics, although you sort of want to laugh at how hard these people are trying. Next to the stage is the bar; u-shaped. The far side of the bar is in this other section that has a small, single-dancer stage. No one sat in here but maybe it's used on busier nights. There were 5 dancers; a heavier brunette that stayed at the bar talking to some dude that was probably 70 years old; another brunette that was cuter and not as heavy, and she also stayed at the bar with a guy; a visiting dancer from Mayport with long black hair, spinner-ish; a fourth dancer that emerged once to sell shots and disappeared again; and this Hispanic-looking girl that basically emerged out of nowhere and was really cute. After her dance she disappeared, which was disappointing. Would've liked to talk to her and check her body out up close.
