HH has seen better days

Harem House used to be one of my regular stops. Tuesdays were great days with the discount buckets of beer and the half price dances. A few years ago, going to HH on a Tuesday afternoon you could expect to see 10 dancers and 20 customers. Things have changed dramatically over the last few years, unfortunately not for the better. My last 2 visits were on a Tuesday and a Monday over the last several weeks. On the Tuesday visit, there were a small handful of customers and 4-5 girls. The Monday visit was bleaker. I was the only customer and there were 3 girls there. I asked both the manager and one of the girls how business had been and both said very slow. I am aware that most places in the city do not have the business that they did several years ago, but I don't know how this place stays open or hangs onto girls that obviously aren't making money dancing.

The girls that were there were familiar and all very nice. Mostly AA which is fine, but a departure from what the staff had been. Didn't do any dances that day, had my one beer and left. Whether or not they continued to dance once I left, I don't know. I will probably be back in another 6-7 weeks, but don't know.
