Some things never change (Thank Goodness)

I have not been in the area since my daughter decided not to attend college near Newark. Passing through NYC though, I had to make a side trip to one of my favorites. One thing that was a little different ... I got patted down by the bouncer at the door. Still only 5$ cover to get in.

The neighborhood hasn't changed much being in not a great section of Irvington but never did I feel unsafe (night time might be different).
