Early Thursday at Follies

Joined my group of friends after work on a Thursday afternoon/evening for an easy night out. I've never been to this place, but my friend has. It was easy to find, but parking was horrible. I hear it can be easy to get towed if you don't follow their policy or if you park in a neighboring lot. We all drove together, so this made things easier for us to get one spot.

Inside was quite small, and crowded. On the upside you can see most of the club wherever you sit. It took us awhile to get a table and have some drinks. Prices for drinks were as expected, very pricey. They do offer some sketchy looking food, although I didn't have anything. The best part of it was that they played hip-hop music, which in my opinion is ideal for a strip club because the dancers get into it a little more than other genres. While I like rock music, I find this doesn't typically work at clubs (too hard for dancers to get into it), and the choice of hip-hop at Follies definitely made the experience better.

We ended up leaving after a few drinks as the place was just too crowded. The dancers were good and the best of them all seemed to have a number of regulars to choose from. We weren't there for dances, so can't comment on that. In conclusion, I guess it was fun, but a bigger club would be more relaxing.
