Last time I was in Providence, I visited The Wild Zebra, and it was a total waste of my time. This time, I decided to go for something tried and true, and so I dropped in to Club Desire. Layout is the same as always, and $20 buys you a $25 drink card. Free lunch is available, and usually very good, but I decided to pass this time; other people seemed to be enjoying it, though. Line up was great...probably over 25 dancers, but I'm going to rate it conservatively. Most were gorgeous, with only a few having extra pounds or years, but they seemed just as popular as anyone else. Eveyone has different tastes, so variety is good.

I had a few beers, and had more than a few girls drop by for conversation. I have to say it again: Desire is NOT a regular's bar; I never have trouble meeting dancers, or having them come up to me, and I am not a regular; I stop by maybe 3-4 times a year, and always meet someone new. Sure...you might not get the attention of the hottest girl in the bar, but there are plenty of gorgeous dancers to choose from. I was there for a couple of hours, and got some lap dances from two different ladies, and a 15 minute champagne room from someone else. All three dances were fun and enjoyable. To my mind, $25 is too much for the topless dances, eapecially if you want to get 2-3, but I'll pay it because the dancers are so sexy; I'd probably get more if they were $20.

I've been hearing that Fantasies is getting better, and I might stop there next time I'm in town. For now, though, Desire is my new favorite club...its out of the way for me, but all my old favorites have just become shadows of their former selves. Its where I'll be visiting for the next little while.
