Agressive upsell

I have not been here in many months and stopped in to check it out. As soon as I got out of my car a dancer smoking in the parking lot was pushing me to go inside for a dance. I told her I wanted to get inside, relax and checkout the dancers. She tired to convince me but I walked away. While I was paying at the door two dancers came over and began rubbing me down, welcoming me to the Den and asking if I wanted a dance. I checked my pockets to see if they had helped themselves to anything and told them I wanted at least a few minutes to sit down and check out the dancers. More pushing for a dance. Others came by and asked and they all were cool when I said I wanted to wait. The women ranged from unattractive and no business being a dancer to very attractive. More than half were WOC.

When I did decide to get a dance, the upsell was ridiculous. get another, upgrade to a VIP, don't forget to tip me. Usually I do upgrade to a VIP after I have had a dance or two. I don't want to drop the cash for a VIP to find out the dance is lame. So my first time with a dancer is the $20 dance. The dancers spent so much time and effort trying to upsell they didn't dance. Not even an air dance.

I left well before I had intended to leave. Had the dancers let me check out the situation and see some of them on stage first, had the dancers actually danced when I paid them instead of upselling, I would have gotten at least one VIP rooms and I would have tipped well . I will be going to elsewhere tonight with the money I did not spend there.

On the whole, if it wasn't for 4 or 5 of the dancers, I would give this place a recommendation. I will try again on a week night to see if it is different.
