Nice change of pace

This is an email-list-only floating club, with a handful of regular locations that run tues-weds-thurs.

I went to their midtown location, near Rockefeller Center, which was fully club-like: fancy bar, full liquor, etc etc.

Because there's no dancing on a stage, the "marketing" for a dancer is more about how she dresses and talks. What's great about this approach is that the dancers are... less robotic, more conversational. And, at least in my experience on this night, more fun. Met a gorgeous tight-body brunette grad student who had some moves and a smartass streak-- who had a thing for a guy in a suit. It was fun.

Now, my experience on this June night wasn't in the "extras zone" but my sense of the place is if I became a familiar face that zone might exist in a careful, discreet way. If you're into that sort of thing.
