Visited this club twice. The first visit was on a Tuesday afternoon and there were only two girls on duty, and they spent little to no time on the stage. I thought this might be an anomaly so I returned on a Thursday and stayed from 6pm until 7:30pm. If anything it was even worse on Friday than Tuesday. The cover was $5 and beers were $4, very few customers in the place(which is usually a bad sign). The club is clean and spacious but it doesn't matter what the club looks like if there are no dancers. About half of the clubs seating is VIP, which seems to be a theme in Austin now, and maybe it is a good way to increase income streams to the club. The downside is that the customers have less money to spend on the dancers for dances which may be contributing to the lack of attractive women in the clubs. When I arrived Tuesday there was an overweight girl and a Latina sitting with some customers. I saw two girls dance for three songs each over the span of one hour. tipped the latina, but she left when she finished with her current customers. On Friday there were a couple of girls I saw two dance then they left for the day. There was a period of almost an hour, 53 minutes to be exact when they seemed to have no women in the club. I was actually watching a tractor pull competition on the television, and I don't enjoy tractor pulls. Finally a couple of overweight girls started to arrive but the first one in took almost 30 minutes to make her first appearance. Eventually one girl came over to my table and sat down without an invite, then when I politely declined her offer of a lap dance she got rather surly which is always fun. The dances were given in an area up a short landing and I wanted to get one to see what the quality was but I honestly could not find a dancer that was remotely attractive to me. Dances were quoted at $20 each, and might have been good, but because I could not find a dancer I have no information on mileage.I was extremely disappointed as I remember the time when Sugars would have three stages with gorgeous women on them constantly, this was many years ago the early 90's but then the club was awesome. I do not know what the problem is, but I hope they can rectify the issues and return to their previous standards.
