I'm a Saturday afternoon regular at Bobby's, but I had a Saturday evening outing and decided to check out reports that the tide is turning in favor of Louie's. Louie's has a decidedly latin flavor, with several of the dancers being Latnas and a lady who brings in hot tamales for sale. Dancers also include whites and blacks. I got LDs from a white dancer and a Russian. Both provided a good grind, well worth the $10. Neither hinted that any extras might be in the offing. When I asked one whether dances were available other than on a barstool, I was given a stern talk that she doesn't do those things. Perhaps the back room is employed only be select dancers.

I wasn't expecting much. I rather enjoyed the dances for what they were.
