Stopped in on a weekday evening,...
Stopped in on a weekday evening, stayed at a hotel right down the street. Was wandering looking for food and found the place right next door (same owner I think I heard?) - seemed to be frequented by the dancers, since a couple girls that were getting food same time as me ended up being on stage a couple hours later. Noticed Cheetah's next door so went online to check it out - no alcohol in there, so I got my drinks up front at this bar.
Pretty nice inside, didn't seem grungy or dirty or anything. $20 I think to get in, got a "VIP card" for discounted admission next time. Bought a couple waters over the course of the 2-3 hours I was there, obviously not cheap. Had a cute little waitress going around to ask people at theirs seats, which was pretty nice. One main stage up front, smaller stage right behind the bar in back - little bit of action on that second stage over the course of the night, not constant though. Good amount of rail seats all the way around (2-3 foot "moat" in between the stage though), plus some other seating a bit further back on 2 sides. Some small rooms/booths with bead curtains, plus "VIP row" in the back (more later).
Girls were overall pretty good looking and also very...abundant. I have never been to a place with this many dancers on shift at once, never mind on a weeknight. I can't remember exactly, but it seemed like there were 30-40 on. There were a couple I either wanted to see dance again, or saw hanging around and wanted to see on stage, but I can't imagine they get on any more than like 2-3 times a night at that pace. I heard it's normal for this place (maybe all of SD or CA?) when after their set, the girl walked around the entire seating area (not just rail) to essentially expect/get a tip from each guy. Not used to that at all, and I thought it was pretty dumb, considering some didn't do much to earn it in my books. Oh well, just a dollar, move along.
