I went to Desire for a rare Friday night visit. I've never quite appreciated the allure of the place. I do love the fact they don't charge a cover before 8 pm, It's the reason I chose to crash here for a couple of hours. Most places around Providence start charging a cover around 6 pm.

The place was fairly busy. Ironically, pretty much the only available seating was the three tables right near the stage. Everybody congregates at the two bars in the back. I was surprised that the night girls (especially on a Friday night) weren't that much more attractive than the day ones. Unlike the day ones, I did find the night ones worked the room a bit more.

I got dances from two women. The first one was exactly my type- pretty, tan, short Latina. We had a nice chat beforehand so I was excited for the dance. Unfortunately, the dance started with her asking for the money up front and telling me to keep my hands to my side and that she could touch me, but I couldn't touch her. Not good. Even before the first dance started, I immediately regretted committing beforehand to two dances with her. Although she was a very pretty girl, I was very disappointed by the experience. It could have been so much more. Maybe in the VIP room, it could have been, but somewhere along the line we lost that connection I sense we made in the bar area.
