I had to try Perfect 10...

I had to try Perfect 10 after reading the reviews on this site and seeing that it is one of the ten highest-reviewed clubs in Texas. The hype is well-deserved! I believe I paid $15 cover to get in - a bit on the pricey side but not obscene. The club is quite large, with several stages (I counted four), lots of chairs and tables scattered about, and what appears to be a pretty big (but not very private) VIP room. I was immediately impressed with the attractiveness of many of the dancers working that evening. A lot of tall, physically fit women; I think mostly white but some Latina, black, and Asian. Because the club was packed, I didn't have a lot of dancers approach me to ask for lap dances; this was OK with me because I was mostly there to enjoy the sights and sounds alone. One thing that was unpleasant about the atmosphere was the amount of smoke in the air - I had forgotten that Austin still allows smoking in some establishments. But it didn't detract from my enjoyment too much.

I was approached by a smaller girl - Latina, or maybe Filipina - with glassy eyes and not much in the way of conversational skills. "How's your night been?" "Pretty good, how about yours?" * glassy-eyed stare, slightly creepy grin * That sort of thing. I admit I wasn't doing much of the conversational heavy lifting myself, but it was notably awkward. I told her I wasn't interested in a lap dance at that time (when asked) and she went away without badgering me. Later that evening, I met a dancer named Stephanie (I think - I couldn't quite make it out) who turned out to have some shared interests with me. Great wit and intellect, terrific at keeping a conversation interesting. Wasn't the first gal I would have picked out based on looks alone (not that she was in any way lacking - just an embarrassment of riches that evening), but her banter took her from an 8 to a 10 on my scale. I very eagerly accepted some dances from her in a private area; she charged $30 each but stretched them out quite a bit and was very polite about asking me if I wanted to keep going after each one so that I could keep accurate count. Very erotic, a lot of touching, light kissing on the lips, EYE CONTACT. *melts* If I saw her in the club again I'd snap her up in a heartbeat.

I enjoyed my experience quite a bit. I look forward to visiting again.
