Midweek visit - crowd was pretty...

Midweek visit - crowd was pretty sparse at 9pm, and picked up a little by 11 when I left. Ran into an old favorite and we caught up for a while. She got called up to the stage and while she was there I had two very annoying dancers try to poach her spot. Told them that I was waiting for someone and they didn't take the hint. One made a less than flattering comment about my favorite (still on the stage), and must have made a face, because she realized she'd screwed up. Tried to give me the big sell on why I should take her to the back for a dance, and I just said that she wasn't my type and wished them good luck for the evening.

Fave came back over and we went in the back for a set of dances - as good as always. Hung out for a while longer, hoping to try out a new dancer I saw on stage but she never came over to my table. Who knows, she may have been friends with the two pain in the ass girls.

$5.75 for a beer - pisses me off everytime because I end up tipping $1.25 and I feel like an idiot everytime. At least nobody tried to charge me $40 for a $30 dance - this time...
