I was in on a Friday...

I was in on a Friday a few weeks back. I live in Oakland. The 500 mile drive is completely worth it. Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club is the greatest paradise in the Western Hemisphere. I've been coming here for a few years now. I used to live on the East Coast and would make the trek about twice a year to Tijuana. Now that I'm in OakTown it'll be far more frequently.

HKTJ certainly caters to Americans. It is couple friendly. I saw quite a few couples enjoying their evening. As you walk in you are frisked by a security man. They're very professional about it. It's no bother. After that you pay $5 for a can of beer. The whole "no cover" thing is untrue. Yes you get a can of cold beer but I think they should do away with that.

As you walk through the red curtains with the HKTJ logo emblazoned on them get ready! Beautiful women everywhere. Dancing on multiple stages, tables, the bar, and laps of patrons. There are tables everywhere. There's a front room with a bar and large stage with several smaller stages strewn about. In the back room you have a row of booths on the wall. A large stage, bar, and jacuzzi. The dancers conduct shaving cream dances back there. Happens about 2-3 times per night. They make bank when they do this. You can respectfully grope them. Just tip them. Don't be an entitled jerk. There's an upstairs part and two (maybe more?) glass encased VIP rooms. You can survey the entire club from up there. In the summer months it's very hot in HKTJ. I wish they would fix that and add more AC. Upstairs there are several tables and booths.

In the restrooms girls will freely walk in and check their hair/makeup and flirt with you. I was pissing one time and a beautiful chick walked up and grabbed my ass and inspected my junk! If you have stage fright you might have a difficult time!

The bar has a decent selection of American and Mexican beers. The meseros are quick and friendly. If you ask for a chica by name they will do their best to find her. "Ficha" drinks are $8.00. This is where the negotiations happen. You never know what type of personality she will have. My last experience was excellent. I saw Salma near the bar. I walked up to her and asked if she'd like to sit and have a drink. She seemed happy to get off her feet for a few minutes. That few minutes turned into almost 40 minutes sitting together and talking. Her English was pretty good. My Spanish is not good but I'm learning. We agreed to go upstairs together.
