My last visit to Platinum was...

My last visit to Platinum was limited to a tour of the recently completed remodeling by a tall pleasant blonde dancer. Did not purchase any dances and ran short of time. This time (Tuesday late afternoon) I decided to try the new couch dance room. There were a number of very attractive dancers on duty. I found a cute dark haired girl and we struck up a conversation. She tried hard to sell me on a “hot tub” dance or a private room, but I said no deal to that and we agreed to go to the new couch dance room. As others have pointed out, it costs $10 payable to the bouncer guarding the room just to go back there. The dancer then charges whatever she charges. I found the $10 entry fee offensive, but what really bothered me was that the whole room was lit up like Sunday afternoon. Very bright lights on the whole time. The two dances I bought were pretty good, but it felt like we were on display. The bouncer didn’t come into the room, but he (and everyone else) could see everything going on anyway, so the girl played it pretty straight. The club really pushes their high dollar rooms, which are very private and looked nice but were way out of my price range. Not sure I’ll go back.
