I went to the Pony on...

I went to the Pony on a Thursday night about 10. The cover was $15 which included two drinks, one handed out by the girl at the door. The club wasn't crowded, but it wasn't dead either with about a dozen dancers that moved up closer to 20 by midnight when I left. The music volume was about right for both atmosphere and talking to the girls. I was impressed with the quality of girls here for a weeknight. There were a couple of 5's and of course one of them came right over and wanted to scoot me to the back, but I dismissed her and watched for better options. Most of them were in the 7-9 range with a couple being exceptionally nice. There was not much tipping at the stage with a couple of gangsta wannabes doing a mini rain, but I did see one girl snatch a folded buck off of a guy's nose with her ass. LOL. I had one girl that was pretty nice looking do a hard sell with an extended fondle of my shorts at the table but I had not made up my mind yet who I was taking to the back. I finally settled on a nice girl who was intelligent, entertaining, frisky, and nicely put together for some dances. I asked about rules and rates. She said $25 per song and touching would be allowed, just no FIV. She also said that she "would be breaking the law and taking out the girls" which she made good on and made good use of. She also pulled aside her bottoms for a good view of the goods during the dances. It was good with shifting and grinding, but not enough to keep me there for an extended period. One thing that I did not like was all the smoke. On top of patrons and girls smoking, they used a smoke machine. It gave the club a dusky feel that wasn't doing it for me. All in all a good visit. There is still fun to be had in Memphis even if it isn't the good ol' days.
