The Bustop has been around for...
The Bustop has been around for a long time, it's got an old-timey-outskirts of vegas kind of vibe to it. Its across the street from a homeless shelter and at the very edge of Boulder. Which lends to a discreet feel. The outside is typical for clubs. Ugly purple building with colorful lights, and a couple benches outside, this is also the smoking area. Once you step in to the topless side, you walk down a short hall lined with tacky pinup photos and are greeted with a coat rack and the bouncer. You have a clear view of the whole club and the dancer on stage before even entering. Theres no cover until 8 and theres a one drink minimum.
Its not very large, just one room, one stage, the bar, a pool table, and off to the side there's another room (with large windows so the security can see) for private topless dances.
The furniture looks like it uses the same fabric as the local public transportation - not sexy. Theres visible stains all over the floor and furniture. The lining around the stage is cracked and scrapes at both the customers and the dancers.
The lighting is always too bright or too dark. The music is always too quiet, but on some occasion far too loud.
The girls are typically very friendly. Sure, there's some girls here who are overweight or unattractive. But theres pretty girls too. If youre looking for fake boobs and blonde hair, this is not the place for you. Theres a lot of alternative/tattooed girls. All very nice though.
