After hitting Platinum Dolls and finding the changes there to be less than great, I thought I would revisit the DejaVu and see how it is these days. The $10 cover gets you bottomless soft drinks. Probably this will be the only bottomless thing touching your lips in here. The girls are a mix of young women who are not old enough to work at any of the alcohol serving clubs in town and older gals who either are not hot enough or who must not care about making much money. One of these young women (Mercedes) told me how she was going to switch to Rhino once she turns 20 on July 12. That pretty much says it all there. You get lap dances for $20 or the occasional 2 for $30. These are topless with hands at your side and some grinding but no touching. The VIP area was $100 and in theory "more private" as one dancer told me. However back there you are still topless only (bottoms stay on) and you get no more freedom to roam with your hands. Only reason to do it is they seem to run about 2 min per song so if you do 7 songs at $20 you looking at $140 versus about 8 songs in VIP for $100. Really the only reason to go is you do get some very young college girls dancing for you. The problem is they are very young and thus you are not getting anything extra other than silicone free experience. The older ones are heavier and usually juiced with silicone. Some of them might give more mileage but really do you want it? As much as this is a nice launching place for young women and a chance for the under 21 guys to get into a club (which has some value in a college town) there is not much to say for the Vu that would make a regular come back. The girls are even discouraged from sitting with customers. They are supposed to walk and sell dances any time they are out. I think the managers must not understand that talking gets you dances...sigh.
