Blackjacks is a ship headed in the wrong direction! Upon parking your own car, you are asked for a $3 parking fee by some guy who sits in his own car providing "security" for the parking lot. Entering the building through large black doors, you are greeted by a host wearing a suit and tie which looks like they were purchased at a resale clothing shop. You are then escorted to the right into a very dark room with small tables and a large rectangular stage. $4 gets you a bottle of water or soda. You are likely to be visited by one of the dancers who will sit down next to you before you get the top off your bottle of water. What the dancers lack in looks, they more than make-up for in friendliness. My impression is that most ladies who work there would rather be dancing somewhere else but the location in Elgin provides them with certain advantages (close to home, lower house fees, etc.)

Dances are $30 topless and $50 nude per song. The dances are performed in a separate room with tall office cubical partitions and small couches. The room is very dark and most the dancers allow full access to everything but the "Kitty". Like the song says, "There is no sex in the Champagne Room"! A few girls are willing to meet up with regulars after work for extra-curricular activities at an additional fee. There are better options in the area for adult entertainment. Still hoping they can turn this ship around before it's to late.
