I'd been warned that the downtown Boston clubs were worthless, but this was the single most boring experience I've ever had at a strip club. The rules seem to be that the strippers can't even pretend to be able interested in your presence. My coworker attempted to put a tip in her cleavage, and was told it couldn't be taken. Most appalling to me is that the bouncers allowed a (presumably) regular to sexually assault a female customer without intervention, even as I pointed out the behavior to them. My coworker paid for a dance for me; I might as well been riding a bus near an attractive woman who didn't notice me for all it mattered. Horrible.
