I was looking forward to experiencing...

I was looking forward to experiencing the Texas strip club scene and made XTC my first stop. But have to admit I left feeling underwhelmed. It was in a nice quiet location out of town. It felt a little weird to have an attendant let you into the parking, but at least it helped me feel that my ride wasn't going to be stolen. I also like clubs with BYOB so you don't feel ripped off with expensive watered down drinks. Found a spot near the main stage and the girls I saw were decent but no stop the presses beauties. There seemed to be a pretty low ratio of dancers to guys - namely there too few dancers for too many guys. Managed to get to the stage and tip a few but it was a struggle to find a time to get up to tip without other guys waiting in line. When I did get the attention of a petite but nicely proportioned blonde I asked her to tryout a lap dance. Followed her to an awfully public corner of the main room. I did get a face full of private parts but the dancer seemed more focused on gymnastic moved than she was on making me happy. No touching and no real grind. Private VIP rooms were pricey for the time/quality of girls so I took a pass. Downed a few more beers and watched another dance or so then called it quits for the night feeling I didn't get much mileage compared to the high expectations I had for TX clubs.
