Scores is at both an advantage...

Scores is at both an advantage and a disadvantage with its location so close to O'Hare. The advantage is it can be a draw for both some of the richest folks in the Midwest and anyone who's flying through the crossroads of America's skies. It also can be easily accessible for traveling dancers who want to come in for a weekend or two, or maybe even a few weeks, and make good money. The problem, however, is that when a place takes the philosophy that customers won't necessarily return, because it thinks its clientele comes mostly from the airport, it might be a turnoff to potential regular customers, because they have to know there's a good chance their favorite from the last trip not only might not be there the next time, she might never return again.

Therein lies both the good and bad of this review: I had my reasons to visit Scores last night, and while I had written the place off over the past few years, it seems to have charged back into "real fun" territory again. However, two of the three girls I got dances from claimed to be from out of town, fairly new and hinting they might not be around all that long or with any semblance of consistency. So ... can I bank on the next time being anywhere near as good, or no?

Having really tired of my local clubs, with no real interest of returning in a long time, I decided to get my fix in Chicago at the old haunt, as Scores is closer for me than downtown and south side clubs. Arrived around 11:30. The $18 cover, including the pole tax, is ridiculous, but I don't trust the website text number you get if you Google for free admission won't charge you some hidden fee on your phone bill.
